A Day at the Vintage Market

Hi Guys!!! Hope you had a glorious 4th of July weekend. We both had Friday off for the holiday, making it a 3 day weekend. Whoot!!! Weather was great here in New England and we enjoyed a hamburger and hotdog on the grill.

On the last Saturday of June, my hubby and I went to the Salem Vintage Market, in Salem, CT. It was a great day, weather was slightly overcast, but warm - mid 70s. The Vintage Market is an open air market in the small farming town of Salem CT. It is an annual one day event and they are in their third year.

We enjoyed the day strolling along the rows of vendor tents, featuring farmhouse, shabby chic, rusty, chippy, garden decor, antique smalls, all things vintage, upcycled, repurposed and refurbished. There were gourmet food trucks and a covered pavilion where you could sit & enjoy the view while listening to live music!

I kept my spending to a minimum and found some great soaps from this vendor, Bitta-Blue Farm.
They offer natural and sustainable soaps, lotions, milk baths, lip balms, and more to nourish your skin. Everything they make contains ingredients from their farm from the goat’s milk to calendula flower petals used to make a healing infusion used for lips and skin.

There were so many other great vendors, with great ideas, which in turn sparked my creativity. I came home with lots of inspiration.

Below are some of my favorite displays.

This next booth held wonderful creations from 2 Chix and a Barn.
It was a fantastic day spent with my Hubby!

             Enjoy the week!
